A minimalist wardrobe is one of types of capsule wardrobe . A capsule wardrobe consists on basic clothing pieces which will always be in style regardless of the trend , fashion or season.
A Minimalist Capsule Wardrobe will have essential pieces . An essential piece of cloth means something that can be pair with various other things to create a different types of styles (it can be paired to make a bold look , office look or even be paired with other things to create a night out look).
Along with essentials it carries light or neutral shades of pieces . for example , camel coats, denims, basic white tees and so forth.
The most important point, back to square one, A minimal look will always be a comfortable outfit.
Here I present some of my, Minimalist Capsule Wardrobe outfit lay downs . Each for a different occasion or a different scenario all together.
So lets get into it.
A PERFECT STREET STYLE
OUTFIT: A look for hanging out with friends or a casual day at work. A white basic tee paired with stripped tailored pants. The red U-shape collar and navy shade of the pants contrasts to give a classic look. The back part of the tee say "9" (Jersey no.) in faded red color , adding simple yet a vibrant pop of color.
Tips- fold the sleeves (as shown above) for a detailed finish.
or
Tuck/Tie a knot with the T-shirt to define the waist. (preferred for pear or hour glass body types)
ACCESSORIES: Enhancing the outfit and keeping it as minimal as possible , a red bead chain matches perfectly. The secret tip is , never keep the hands empty. So, a A.D ring in one of the hands ( ya, not so clear the picture ).
and finishing up with my most favorite clutch.
Tips- The beads can even be tied around the wrist .
FOOTWEAR: Any black heels. This one a peep toe black velvet heels.
LOOKING MINIMALIST AT THE BEACH
OUTFIT: A bikini top can be fairly pulled together with a plaid pleated mini skirt. This royal blue pull over would go great with the look we are trynna get her . You people may not be clearly picturing the this shrug would look. So, look how the string there can cinch your waist perfectly.
Tips: The shrug can be replaced with a black sheer crop top and that would serve great as well.
ACCESSORIES: On a beach what possibly you would carry. A watch so you keep track of time and a bag to keep your stuffs together.
FOOTWEAR: Any flip flops.
Note
this outfit does not have light or neutral shades yet it is a minimal look because of its monochrome nature (one color through out).
DENIM ON SidDENIM
OUTFIT: Sleeveless denim shirt with Hem-less and ripped denim jeans. The most minimalist look for me is a D on D.
Tips- you can open up couple of buttons from the bottom of the shirt and tie it.
ACCESSORIES: A ring and a watch to satisfy my secret rule and a locket to enhance the region around the neck. (this outfit is better visible in the cover picture above).
FOOTWEAR: White sneakers is the most comfortable.
CASUAL COCO
OUTFIT: White off the shoulder top and a basic denim shorts (again denim, denim is love).
Tips- Tuck the top in and add a belt as a detail.
ACCESSORIES: The W-essential pieces , wallet and watch. To supplement the showing neck , a locket .
FOOTWEAR: My Favorite , White Sneakers.
